How to make an iPhone Kupi dance video

By the iPhone Kupi Dance AI team · Updated

You can make the iPhone Kupi dance in two ways: generate it with AI from one photo of yourself, or film it yourself with a phone prop. The AI route takes a few minutes and needs no dancing. Filming is free but needs a prop, space and a few takes.

Option 1: make it with AI from one photo

  1. Pick a good photo. One person, facing the camera, head, shoulders and upper body visible, even light. JPG or PNG up to 10 MB.
  2. Upload it in the generator on our homepage. Every video is 720p, vertical and 15 seconds.
  3. Generate. The Wan 3.0 model rebuilds a reference dance clip with the person in your photo as the performer, including the outfit. It often takes 10 to 15 minutes, and you can leave the page while it renders.
  4. Download the MP4 and post it. The trend’s sound is already included.

One video costs $6.99, two cost $9.99 and five cost $19.99. A video that fails is added back to your balance automatically. See pricing.

Only upload photos of yourself, or of an adult who has agreed. Read how we handle photos in our privacy policy.

Option 2: film it yourself

  1. Make or find a prop. A tablet, a folded cardboard “phone”, or two phones held edge to edge all read as a fold-out phone on camera.
  2. Set up vertically. Put your camera on a stand at chest height, about two metres away, in a room with good light. A hotel-room or bedroom look matches the original.
  3. Shoot the 15-second structure: phone close to the lens and unfold (0-3 s), step back (3-7 s), dance on the beat (7-11 s), toss and final pose (11-15 s).
  4. Edit and add the sound. Trim in TikTok, CapCut or iMovie, then pick the official «Базовый минимум» sound when posting.

Practise the toss with something soft. Don’t throw a real phone.

Posting tips

  • Use the trend’s searchable words in your caption: iPhone Kupi, iPhone Kupi dance.
  • Post the vertical 9:16 version. It fills the screen on TikTok, Reels and Shorts.
  • If you used AI, say so in the caption. Many platforms ask you to label AI-generated content.

Common questions

Do I need a foldable phone? No. A prop works, and the AI version needs none at all.

How long is the video? About 15 seconds, the length of the original trend clip.

Does the AI video have sound? Yes, it includes the trend’s original sound. If TikTok or another app mutes it, pick the official sound when you post. Background on the track is on the song page.
